502 Dragon Boat Community, Inc. aspires to be the flagship dragon boat club in Kentuckiana, fostering community, compassion, courtesy, competition, and courage through sport and teamwork.
OUR MISSION
502 Dragon Boat Community, Inc. and its members are ambassadors of the international sport of dragon boat racing. We strive to provide education, training and competition for a medley of paddlers and experience levels. We support our community through education and wellness promotion, and sharing our guiding principles of community, compassion, courtesy, competition, and courage.
COMMUNITY
We provide opportunities and give back to our broader community by emphasizing the role that exercise and physical fitness have in disease prevention and management.
COMPASSION
We provide an opportunity to paddle to everyone. We minimize barriers to participation. All are welcome. We pull together as a team to attain our goals.
COURTESY
We create an inclusive environment marked by respect, a spirit of camaraderie, good sportsmanship, straightforward and fair conduct, and honesty.
COMPETITION
We seek athletic camaraderie in the dragon boating and paddling world through appropriate opportunities.
